Scroll compressors compress refrigerant in the head, and high-side pressure is contained by the compressor's top cap, muffler plate, the fixed and orbiting scrolls, the IPR valve, and the floating seal. Low-pressure gas enters from the outer edge of the scrolls, and the high-pressure gas is discharged from the center.

AC Types 3D
Просмотров 8 тыс.Месяц назад
In this AC Types 3D video, we will go over the variety of AC system types and their common applications. Split AC systems and heat pumps generally consist of two main parts: an indoor unit (with an evaporator and metering device) and an outdoor unit (compressor and condenser) connected by linesets (the suction or vapor line and the liquid line). Heat pumps also have a reversing valve that can r...

you guys are the best. Thanks!!👍
Great clear understanding indepth knowledge and teaching 👏 👌
Can we PPT presentation??
Well explained 👏 👌
I would like to hear how people do changeouts in 5 hours not 5 days 😂
Great vid bud. Thank you.
Would you use the CPT terminal for HERM?
Hi,P.com
So, what if a Hard Start kit was prematurely installed due to Tech not noticing a bad plug on the Compressor which resulted in him being recalled less that 3 hrs latter to fix the true problem, and install a new harness/plug. (On the first call, he was told the main breaker at PP kept tripping, so a Hard-Start was installed before rolling out.) Does the Hard-Start need to stay?
Can we get the PowerPoint presentation, please?
Thank you! I just fixed my A/C that has been down for 2 days after figuring out 1 of 2 fuses was blown going to the Air Conditioner so I was only getting 120v out of 240. $25 later and my AC is alive again!
proper tea temp would be between 180 and 190. You are ruining your tea.
Thanks for sharing this with us. I understand this video may hurts some ac guys but if you are good Tech you need to be honest. Don’t lie to customers. You can’t charge 400-500$ for the job cost you 20$ and 5 minutes.
Thanks
Cant I just autogenously TIG weld copper?
Why is it called common if it's connected to power?
Also lubricate bearings in the motor while it's accessible, they will be dry
From my brain to your brain, thank you for this information explanation of stack effect.
When pointing out the true suction port, perhaps you could obscure what you are attempting explain a little bit more by more hand/elbow in the way and a more sad camera angle.
This was a good learning class.All the students was attentive,mannerable & respectful.#GreatJob!
Thanks
Is yellow jacket a good brand?
Great video as always. Really appreciate your knowledge in time ..quick question in this video you’re showing a female a female quarter inch fitting hooking to your micron gauge. I’ve been looking all over for this fitting but cannot find it. Is there a certain description for this fitting. thanks again. You guys do a great job educating us HVAC guys good thanks
Muchas gracias, if I understood correctly an E fuse is 3.5 amp?
9:45 so if return air is 80 degree and evaporator temperature is 65 the working temperature is 15. 15 degree below designed 35 degree temperature. And super heat is 25 and subcool is 10. I got too much refrigerant? 😂 I'm so lost. This is new carrier system with slab coil new ducts new plenum
Thanks!
Incredible explanation
Really like your presentation, but the music is unnecessary and very annoying.
excellent graphic for beginners like me.
Can someone link me to the app referred to as psycro degree f app
thanks alot its very useful and nice animation
Awesome
Great-Aswsome

So, GWP because of CO2 being released into the atmosphere. Yet, where did the CO2 come from? The atmosphere? If it escapes a sealed system from a chemical compound called R410a, doesn't it go back into the atmosphere? Trees, through aspiration, convert CO2 into oxygen. However, everywhere one turns they see the trees are being cut down to build crappy, albeit, lucrative construction projects. I say plant more trees and keep R410a. Of course that might affect the profitability of Chemours and the politicians involved. Beware of loud and fast talking people who are quick to ridicule dissent. Eg: "What advice do you have for those who are new to using refrigerants?" Answer, " Haw, haw; that's a whole other topic, start by getting your license." In other words, "Piss Off !" It is corruption at its finest. The bigger the government, the smaller the citizen.
I am surprised you explained it correctly. Many folks run around saying hardstart kits reduce startup surge current magnitude. That is not true. Normal startup surge current lasts in the range of 0.4 seconds without a hardstart capacitor added. A hardstart capacitor increases the motor startup torque by getting the start winding current closer to 90 degrees phase shift from Run winding current. This drops the typical spin up surge current time period to about 0.2 seconds. Most clamp on amp meters average the surge current for about 0.4 seconds so a short burst, 0.2 second surge time period reads lower than actual. If you have a true hardstart condition on compressor, due to low AC voltage or long or small gauge AC wiring, the startup surge time will increase. Normally without a hardstart capactor, if spin up surge current time extends to near 1 second it is likely the compressor overcurrent/overtemp internal protection Klixon will pop open from overcurrent duration.
What does "flex by hand" mean in this stupid a$$ field.. should read a steady value between 500 to 1500 ohms as leads are flexed by hand, if not pick up coil is bad bad probably won't get an answer for a year or two but worth a shot Google ain't worth a crap you don't understand this type of language
thanks for clear presentation of the functioning
The best recovery unit I’ve used. Highly recommended 👍🏻
Capacitor gets power from what leg the compressor run is on .
what if running amps are very close to my RLA
Liked and subscribed, thanks.
My experience with that meter is I've purchased 2, the first one had a bearing issue on the dial, it wore out the plastic underneath the dial and would cause the dial to turn on by itself and run the battery down, the meter was just over a year old and i could not return it. i spoke with Truetech Tools and they acknowledged that Supco was aware of this issue, however they would not replace the dial. fast forward 2 years, i found out you could measure running amps under load with this meter so i decided to give it a try again, as it turn out, on the 2nd meter you could tell they improved the dial, it was more robust, however, the first time i use it for testing capacitors, it would read one time, then the next time it wouldn't give you anything, just all blanks on the app. Hs anyone else complained to you about this? I really wanted this meter to work for me, but dam, why cant they be consistent.
Dont understand how to remove nitrogen after purge is done
I can never get over how Americans don’t just use metric.. 14. Pressure?? No dude it’s 1…. 😅
If you have a Amrad dual cap with CPT will you connect the wire to CPT?

#8. No limit on the amount of income that is subject to FICA withholding. If your taxable income is a million dollars you pay social security tax on a million dollars. Yes there will be tax cheating but even with that it will still solve the insolvency problem and I very short order.
Both men are excellent teachers & instructors.#GreatJob! #UEI Colleges.
